I created Senf because I was tired of copy-pasting .env files into Discord whenever I switched from my desktop machine to my laptop or vice versa.

While more advanced solutions like Azure Key Vault or AWS Secrets Manager exist, they introduce complexity and dependencies on external services.

Senf focuses on the basics: Sync .env files securely without requiring yet another account with email, password and MFA just to load some basic environment configurations. It isn't made for businesses, it's not even really made for teams. It's just for you.
